Sol&Agrifood is an internationalquality food farming exposition, a prestigious showcase for food companies, promoting, in conjunction with Vinitaly, the olive and food farming excellence on national and international markets. This event is usually held during April at The Verona Fiere when the best selected extra virgin olive oils get rewarded at the renowned international contest the Sol D’Oro (the Golden Sun).

In 2015, the Pietrabianca farm stood up among all others, winning the Gold Medal (Medaglia d’Oro) for its extra virgin olive oil Magnete, monocultivar Cammarotana, in the light fruity class. The Golden Medal is the highest level of the ranking, and the rewarded oils can display the Sol D’Oro seal on their bottles, as a high quality voucher, furthermore, Pietrabianca and its Monzo branded extra virgin olive oils, has been included in the guide “Le Stelle del Sol d’Oro” (The Stars of Sol d’Oro).

This Year, Pietrabianca, together with Unaprol (Italian Olive Growers Consortium), took part in the Sol & Agrifood in Verona, from April 10th to April 13th, in the Aprol Campania location, pavillion C, stand B20. Furthemore, on April 10th 2016, at the Salieri Hall in PalaExpo VeronaFiere, Pietrabianca was rewarded with the Gambero Rosso “Three Leaves” prize during the launch of 2016 Italian Oils Guide. The award was given to the 2015 Magnete extra virgin olive oil, monocultivar Cammarotana.
